On Saturday, May 9th, 2026 we will gather together to celebrate the life of Cynthia "Cid" Lowery.
The celebration will be held from 2-6pm at
5140 Solliden Lane, La Canada, CA 91011.

As we gather to honor Cid's life we'll share memories and stories of this luminous and endlessly curious soul that has passed. Cid's humor, imagination and generosity touched so many – family, friends, colleagues as well as countless students over the course of her career.
Whip-smart, witty and fiercely independent, Cid engaged each of us with candor and kindness – delivering truth with a twist of subtle sarcasm. It was both disarming and endearing. She made us better with her courage and constant sense of wonder she brought to the table. She will be missed.
